Backplate to fit Versachuck wood lathe chuck.
This backplate is unthreaded so that the user can arrange to have a thread cut in the backplate to suit the target lathe. The backplate is approximately 50mm thick (i.e. maximum spindle length using this item would be 50mm). The backplate is pre-bored with a pilot hole, nominally 20mm diameter.
This Versachuck backplate also fits other chucks that use the ISO standard Pratt Burnerd 4" system, including the Axminster Precision chuck and the Axmister Super Precision chuck, as well as many engineering chucks.
