ProtecTool Wax Polish is perhaps the most popular corrosion inhibitor in our range of Shield Technology products.

Designed with woodturners and woodworkers in mind, but equally useful for metalworkers and engineers, and doubtless a myriad of other disciplines too, ProtecTool Wax is a unique blend of soft microcrystalline waxes and corrosion inhibitors, that hardens on exposure to air.

As well as providing unrivalled protection against corrosion and fingermarks, it also dramatically reduces friction, allowing for significantly easier travel on machine beds and for hand tools to glide effortlessly.

Use it on lathe beds, band saw and table saw tables, planer-thicknessers, and any other type of machine bed or power tool can think of.

Use it on hand plane soles and sides, chisels, turning gouges, tool rests, hand saws - it's applications are limitless, and each case you will be inhibiting corrosion and reducing friction, both at the same time.

Apply it sparingly with a soft cloth, allow it to dry for a few minutes before buffing with a clean part of the cloth.

Importantly, ProtecTool Wax does not contain silicone.
