Woody Pear is a scruffy looking tree from Australia, that yields the most beautiful timber. The fruit itself is inedible, but the wood, which is mid brown in colour, wth flecks of light brown and cream, has a beautiful dark brown, wavy grain running through it and makes a fantastic looking pen.
