7.9x0.6 with M10x1 combination threaded mandrel for kitless pens suitable for Bock size 6 nib sections

M7.9 x 0.6 with M10 x 1 reversible combination single lead threaded mandrel for fountain pen sections that take a Bock size 6 nib housing - for kitless pens and custom pen making.

Made from solid brass, the 15mm rear tenon can be held on the lathe in a collet chuck, an engineering chuck, a drill chuck or a wood lathe chuck. Once the fountain pen section is drilled and threaded either internally or externally, it can be held securely and accurately on the mandrel in order to turn and finish its outside profile.

The Mandrel can be held in either direction on the lathe, as the front features an M7.9 x 0.6 male thread for inserting into the section, and the rear tenon features an M10 x 1 female thread, allowing the section to revered and held securely by its connector thread. Both ends of the section can therefore be worked on, using a single mandrel.
