Micro-mesh abrasive sheets are the last word for creating an ultra-fine finish on small turned items such as pens, rings and other small projects, and can be used on wood, acrylic, ebonite. plastic, polycarbonate, soft metals such as gold and silver, as well as a host of coatings to improve the shine, including CA, melamine, acrylic lacquer and so on.
Available in 9 different grades from 1500 to 12000, (Micro-mesh 1500 being the equivalent of a traditional 600 grit abrasive, and Micro-mesh 12000 being the equivalent of 1 micron) Micro-mesh abrasive sheets have a pliable fabric backing and can be used wet or dry.
Each sheet measures 3" x 6" and to prolong it's life can be rinsed out in plain water after use if required.
This Variety Pack contains 1 fabric backed abrasive sheet of 1500, 1800, 2400, 3200, 3600, 4000, 6000, 8000 and 12000 grades, with the number of the grade clearly printed on the reverse.
We also have sheets available to buy individually in each of the above grades and also in the form of soft-touch, double sides pads in each of the abovel grades, that in common with the abrasive sheets can also be used wet or dry.
