Pencil insert for converting ballpoints to pencils

This mechanical pencil insert will convert a ballpoint pen to a pencil.

It will fit most pen kits that use a Parker style ballpoint refill - just remove the refill and spring and fit the pencil insert in its place. You don't need the spring.

To operate the pencil, twist (or click) the pen mechanisim as if you are extending a ballpoint refill, and that will advance the lead. Twist (or click) the mechansim again, as if you were retracting a ballpoint refill, and that will lock the lead in place.

The pencil insert contains 0.7mm leads, which can be refilled by pulling off the white button at the top of the insert, and placing more leads inside.
