Goblet jaws for Versachuck - 75mm o/d and 38mm i/d with additional internal lip

Versachuck goblet jaws.

Designed to be used with the Versachuck when mounted on the corresponding Versachuck jaws carriers (available separately).

Our unique Versachuck Goblet Jaws will hold goblets and other spindle work rock solid, due to the novel way in which they grip internally in compression mode.

Featuring a parallel bore with a tapered internal "lip", the workpiece is prepared with a 38mm (1 ¹/₂ inch) dia. parallel tenon, on which a groove of approximately 3mm deep is cut with a standard parting tool, 19mm from the end of the tenon.

When the workpiece is inserted into the chuck jaws, the tapered internal lip locates into the groove and draws the workpiece tight into the chuck as the jaws are closed, resulting in the strogest of grips.

The outside perimeter features a 75mm (3 inch) standard dovetail profile, adding to the versatilty of this unique set of chuck jaws.

Nominal size = 38mm (1.5 inch) dia bore,  75mm ( 3 inch) external.

These jaws will also fit Axminster chucks.
