• Tube length = 56.3mm. Recommended drill size = 27/64

• The Section and Clip Assembly have the same diameter. Therefore both bushes are identical and can be used in either position.

• Press the Clip Assembly into the tube. The clip itself does not extend beyond the top of the assembly, therefore it is not necessary to use a block or any other form of jig in order to protect it. from being damaged by the press.
• Press the Section Connecter into the tube.
• Screw the Mechanism firmly into the Clip Assembly.
• Insert the refill and place the spring over it, then screw the Section into the connecter.
• After testing for correct operation, the Finial can be pushed onto the mechanism so that it meets the Clip Assembly. If you have strong thumbs, his can normally be done by hand and does not require a press.
• In use, the refill is normally accessed by unscrewing the Section rather than by unscrewing the mechanism, but in fact it can be accessed either way.
